About
The National Movement of Togolese Youth in all its diversity is committed to using its energy and creativity to address public health challenges in Togo, with a focus on making Togo free of Neglected Tropical Diseases and malaria, as well as improving Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) and nutrition. We work in close collaboration with the country’s health authorities and technical and financial partners. Our activities focus heavily on awareness-raising, leveraging the proximity and mobilizing power of young people, as well as on strong advocacy driven by youth leadership. We also mobilize external resources through the creativity and expertise of this dedicated youth. Our patron is ALMA – the African Leaders Malaria Alliance – which, in collaboration with our Ministry of Health, officially endorsed our establishment. We operate under the leadership of the National Malaria Control Program and the National Program for Neglected Tropical Diseases.
Vision
The association advocates for a Togolese youth, without any distinction, to lead advocacy efforts for the eradication of malaria and NTDs, the improvement of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), the fight against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), nutrition, and the promotion of Universal Health Coverage in Togo.
Mission
Our main mission is to promote the inclusion of youth, gender equality, and persons living with disabilities in the prevention of malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases, and to actively engage them in advancing Universal Health Coverage through advocacy initiatives, strategic communication, awareness-raising, and informed actions for domestic and local resource mobilization.
